Biography:
| Danni was born in Luton, England, just North-west of London. Her parents brought her to Canada when she was three. She goes by the nickname Anndi much of the time. She is now 16, and started with photography three years ago when she spent a winter in Spain and had nothing better to do. She is part of many online photography communities, including deviantART, where she showcases her work and gains feedback on how to improve. She also takes photography courses in school. Her first camera was a Canon PowerShot S45 (4MP), but last winter she received a Nikon CoolPix 4600 (4MP). She is well acquainted with her new camera and makes use of the many different settings and functions, capable of choosing the best settings for different lighting and motion conditions. She is looking into a new camera, 6MP or higher, probably from Olympus. In April, she won a photography contest to have some of her work sold for charity. She currently holds two volunteer photography jobs, one in Vancouver and one in Burnaby. In her spare time, Anndi enjoys mountain biking, tennis, football (North American; "soccer"), other sports, web design, and translation work. Her plans for the future are to attain a part-time job at Ikea, complete high school, then move back to England where she hopes to continue working for Ikea and also pursue a career in photography after studying it at a college in England. Style - Anndi doesn't like to use the flash, preferring to make use of natural light, usually taking photos outdoors, or opening windows or setting up bright lights indoors. She likes to make the subject of her photos fill the frame, either using the zoom or getting up close. As Anndi is still a budding photographer, she is still setting her style. |
